What an amazing part of the world. This is wilderness at its best & a place that everyone should visit at least once.

Reminder of the battles that were fought during the Falklands war .Sitting at home hearing of our soldiers fight all those years ago and now being able to see it .

Like something out of Lord of the Rings, this windswept desolation has stunning views across the battlefields of 1982.

This final stop in the battlefield tour is intense. Driving there is an adventure, and it is beautiful. However, when you get to the top of the Mount, you forget about the sights and focus on how hard it must have been to fight the war in 1982. The cold weather, the wind, the lack of experience. It is a place to visit while in the Falklands since it is a historic location.

The battlefield has never been touched since the end of the war all those years ago. The relics of the battle are still visible, our guide was a local chap who had recorded some of the events of the invasion on his cassette recorder. Brought back a lot of memories from the news broadcasts I remember watching as a child.
