We live in Santiago and love to try new restaurants. It's tucked away down one of our favourite streets in Providencia with a bar (smoking section) at the front and a quiet restaurant at the back with about 8 tables. Potted plants line the walls.
We thought the food was very good and I particularly enjoyed my steak with foie gras. The service was very good by Santiago standards (which are usually pretty bad!), and our waiter spoke some English. As the meal progressed, it was a little harder to get the waiter's attention and we had to ask for the bill twice. There was a nice wine list and our bottle of pinot noir nicely matched the food all of which was very tasty.
In all, I would say it is a very good Santiago restaurant, not outstanding but nice for a quiet and relaxed mid-week dinner with friends.
