I can't thank the staff at the Villa Emilia Hostal enough. They were so welcoming, accomodating, and attentive to our needs. We travelled as a group of 10 people, booking 3 rooms, and couldnt have had a more pleasant stay. The facilities were immaculately clean, well kept, secure, and comfortable. The daily breakfast were made with fresh, local ingredients and were incredibly tasty (we even went to the store to buy the coffee they serve to bring home for ourselves).

On top of that, the staff was so courteous and helpful, and spoke enough english that everyone could communicate openly.

As an extra note, they took great care of me personally as I was stricken with food poisoning and dehydration during my stay (from outside food, dont worry!). In the middle of the night they were still available and attentive and coordinated a taxi to take me and a few members of my family to the emergency room. Even after coming back, the rest of the staff checked in on me to make sure I was alright, even shared some tricks that the locals who suffer from food poisoning do.

I cant thank them enough. it was such a wonderful experience, and incredibly cost effective.

Thank you Villa Emilila. As we we know we'l lbe back in ecuador, and most likely in cuenca, we will be back. You are amazing.

Room tip: rooms 204 or 205. These are on the back away from street, so less noisy. stray dogs are rampant in ecuador, barking can be an issue.

Wow this place is Awesome with a capital A. As soon as you step inside you feel the coziness and the marble stair case is divine. The beds and comforters sooooo good all I want to do is sleep. Hopefully the included breakfast is just as good as the room.
