This is a must-do if you're in Cusco.
If you have the flexibility, visit on the Monday before Easter. In the early afternoon (around 2pm), you'll be able to watch the procession of El Señor de los Temblores, which originates from the Cathedral at Plaza de Armas. There is solemn music, throngs of faithful, and the procession of the Christ accompanied by ringing church bells.
The statue of the crucified Christ is believed to have mitigated further disaster following their earthquake of 1650,
