Amaru runs a few hostels in the Cuzco area at different price points, we have stayed at two of them (the cheaper two) on three different occasions. Prices are fair, good hot water, rooms are clean, and staff are very friendly. On one occasion there was a reservation mix-up, but to the staff's credit, they arranged a room for us at one of their other hostels and provided free transport to move us over. No big deal. We were very happy with our stay here and would recommend it.
