“Very good hotel in an excellent location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2012

Casa Andina Private Collection - Miraflores is in a wonderful location. It is easy to walk to shops, restaurants and native markets from this hotel and it is a fairly safe area to walk around. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff are most helpful. The buffet breakfast is included in the price, and quite good. In addition to the full service restaurant they offer, a casual cafe and a large bar area. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding.

Our family of four (kids 14 and 5) went to Lima for six days and six nights to visit family. We were looking at the Marriott in Miraflores as well as other top notch hotels, but kept coming across the problem of not being able to put the four of us in one room. It was cost prohibitive for us to get two rooms in any hotel. Some strange regulation that each hotel had about having that many in a room, which is an everyday occurrence for families in the United States. Anyway, we found a special online for a senior suite (offered by the hotel itself) to pay much less if the stay was paid for upfront. We were able to afford the suite, have our older daughter sleep in the living room, and the little one slept with us in the king bed. We did have to pay extra for the bed in the living room each night, but overall for the quality and space that we were offered, the price was exceptional.
It had a large living area, with sofa, almost a double bed, mini-bar, tv and dining area in one room, and the king bed, tv and closet space in the other room. The bathroom had both a shower stall as well as a bathtub.
The room came with free buffet breakfast each morning. The breakfast was something we looked forward to each morning, partly because of the service. Mostly the same each morning, but so much was offered. Some savory things, such as tamales and sauteed vegetables and meat, as well as made-to-order omlettes, pancakes, a variety of breads, fruit, cold meats and cheeses and cereals.
The service was wonderful. The men at the front of the building helping with valet and directions always were smiling (and it seemed genuine), helpful and greeted us each day. Both gentlemen at the concierge were equally helpful and amiable as they arranged a local dinner dance for our family.
All staff is well equipped with many languages to help travelers from all over the world. One kind waiter, Franklin, knew Quechua, Spanish, French and English.
There is a lovely little pool and gym. My husband is tough on gym ratings, and used it only for cardiovascular activities, and obtained a daily pass at the nearby Gold's Gym on the weight-lifting days.
I would definitely return to this hotel provided I got another such bargain on the price.
As far as location, it is close to many restaurants, shopping and the Larcomar center on the coast.
Loved it! Still have jet lag, but wanted to write it up before it left my head.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the elevator. Our room was right next to it, and we could hear it trave...

We stayed at three Casa Andina Private Collection hotels while in Peru (Sacred Valley, Lake Titicacca and Lima). All were lovely properties. The Lima location is in the hip Miraflores area. It is a short walk to the ocean and the lovely boutique stores and restaurants of Miraflores centre.
The hotel itself is very modern, glam and welcoming. The coffee shop sells good coffee and snacks if you need a quick pick me up before heading out to catch the Lima sights.

The breakfast buffet was very good and fresh. The rooms are super clean and for some reason, I found the sheets to be oh-so-soft.
All in all, a great spot to stay while in Lima.

I recently had an extended 4 week stay at this hotel and my experience was very pleasurable. The hotel staff was very attentive and accommodating; there was always someone greeting me whenever I arrived or left the hotel. The concierge staff, particularly Jean Pierre and Renzo, were very helpful in assisting and providing recommendations for nearby restaurants and points of interest. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and delicious and the restaurant staff were very efficient and prompt. The hotel is very clean and the housekeeping staff is excellent. In summary, everyone at the hotel was eager to help and made my stay very enjoyable. I definitely recommend this hotel and will be back next time I visit Lima.

This hotel was very modern and clean. It's location is great, we could even walk to the beach although it was quite a ways. The buffet breakfast was one of the best in our South America trip. Service was also excellent.

You won't find a better location for a hotel in Lima. Excellent service, perfection on every detail. Nice decoration and mood. The buffet breakfast was amazing, all your expectations will be met. I had my wedding night here, for me and my wife the experience was absolutely breathtaking.

Room Tip: Higher floors have an amazing view of the city.
