Fantastic hotel, in all senses. I travel to Lima about 3x a year and always stay at the Westin. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable and the staff is efficient and accommodating. Although I don't frequent the area directly around the hotel, the hotel is so very nice, there is little reason to leave. I frequently ask for additional items such as a hair diffuser and a water kettle in the room for my arrival, and they always accommodate.
The beds are amazingly comfortable, the work station is generous in size and plugs. The bathroom is spectacular with a rain shower and a bathtub that taunts to be used daily. The gym is stocked with all needs including a trainer there to assist your workout or answer questions.
And then there is the spa... a little overpriced for the area but reasonable if you're converting to US$. Service is fantastic. The experience started with a dry sauna and jacuzzi in a room which offered wonderful privacy, followed by a Swedish massage by Cristiane, a lovely Brazilian who knows how to work every muscle to relaxation. The experience was topped off by time in the "Sanctuary" - a dark room with heated ergonomic chaises and a ceiling mimicking a starry night sky. An exceptional experience overall.More
