I live in Lima since September and I have to say that the best ceviche I've tried here is from "El Cevichano". It's the real Peruvian ceviche, the place it's a little restaurant in the middle of a classic market where you don't think you can find the best ceviche of Lima. But it is, fresh fish and fresh and perfect ingredients made the best one in town, also you can combine other dishes with it. In my last visit asked for a "Triple" which is a combination of 3 dishes. We tried ceviche, seafood rice and "Saltado de Mariscos" (Grilled seafood with an amazing wine sauce) . That "triple" was perfect for two, it was delicious as always and the staff have an awesome service even the place it's a little uncomfortable to attend. Don't wait for a big and expensive restaurant, it's a homely place with a really good food (one of the best in town)

Just good and fresh food. Place it's ok don't expect nothing of the extraordinary. Prices are ok compare to the food. Dulce and chano are great.

Very good ceviche served right at the market. Generous and very fresh portions. Señora Mirella is always around for a selfie. An interesting experience to be eating inside the wet market. Be here for lunch, before she runs out of food. The place closes early, around 4pm.

If you want to try real food outside the trendy gourmet options this is your spot. Luciano is a great cook and used to cook in trendy spots before he got this stall at the Surquillo market.

Fresh food. He literally buys from the market stalls as the orders come in.

My husband says is one of the best quality/price options you will find. Ask him to get you "almejas al limón" of if you are vegetarian as I am, buy your mushrooms in a stall and he is so nice he'll make a mushroom ceviche for you!
