Was a perfect spot for proximity to train in Ollantaytambo. Friendly staff, great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Recommend getting a room with a balcony. Juan Carlos made our dinner very memorable!

Room Tip: balconies have great view of glacier

This is a charming hotel in a great location of Ollantaytambo. We enjoyed the farm to table breakfast and the beautifully cared for gardens. There are great details to the rooms and the restaurant. Great family room with three beds for the 4 of us. Worked perfectly. Right across from the rail stations so a bit noisy but they gave us earplugs for the night trains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we couldve stayed a few more nights. Loved waking up to fragrant flowers and sleeping with the cool mountain breeze. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms may be better for noisy neighbors

We stayed in the hotel since we had to take the train really early. The location is perfect and the room was very nice. They were also really helpful and prepared our breakfast beforte the scheduled hour so that we could leave on time.

Happy with our choice of Ollataytambo as a base for visiting Machu Picchu and happy with our hotel. Cozy room with balcony, good restaurant, and so convenient to the train. And no, we never heard the trains at night. At $183/ night it's a bit high but worth it. Do check the bill though. There was a significant mistake that was quickly corrected when I questioned it.

A few minor cons: there is a 10 min walk to the main part of town and the Inca ruins; and the wi-FI while strong makes you of in again everything you turn your phone back on which becomes a nuisance.

Charming English style hotel adjacent to the train station in Ollantaytambo -- therefore extremely convenient to the Machu Picchu train, and a short walk to the village. Extremely nice and helpful staff members, in particular Caleb who helped us with all the Machu Picchu arrangements. We particularly enjoyed the lunch on their farm called Pachamanca, with fresh meat and produce prepared on hot rocks in an “earth oven” Inca style.
