We wanted to treat the family to a couple of days in the Sacred Valley away from the noise and pollution of Cusco. This hotel provided the perfect getaway. The rooms were large and bright with central heating and air conditioning, which was a real bonus as the weather was uncharacteristicaly overcast and cold. There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool, which we had hoped to make good use of, but only managed the briefest of swims. The hotel sits alongside the river Urubamba amid lovely garden grounds.
The staff were very welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed a lovely meal while being serenaded by a local group playing Andean music. Only downside was the low temperature of the dining room. However the staff did try to mitigate this by bringing a gas heater to our table.
I would certainly return to this hotel.More
