The Sol y Luna Hotel is one of those "wow! places you hear about but rarely experience. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights and thought it was just perfect. The grounds remind you of an African lodge, with separate casitas set apart from one another in beautiful gardens with winding pathways connecting them. The setting looks directly at snow-capped mountains which surround the valley. The rooms are spacious and luxurious - like staying in your own little house, with everything catered for, including a log fire if you require one lit, hot water bottles delivered to your door and a plate of petit fours waiting on the table.
The staff are ready to assist and everything is done with a smile and we were made to feel that we were special guests. There are two superb restaurants, a spa, a pool, gift shop, horse shows and more. We would love to stay again if we ever found ourselves in Peru again.More
