it was one of the highlight of our stay in Rarotonga, one of the cheapest dancing shows around, $49 each, very well organised, great staff, good food selection and plenty to eat, the show was very good, fire show included, which was a surprise, thank you

Came for lunch at the restaurant. Waited 40 minutes more, no body cleans up our table. Our food has never arrived and we have to cancel for it. Awful experience! Good side is that you can store your luggage at the hotel with$5/piece charge.

We are sorry your meals took long to arrive your table. Our kitchen is very busy during lunch hour and key dinner times. We hope you give us another try in future. Kia Manuia.

got in at 12:30 in the am, went there because our place we had booked would not be ready till 10:00 am. walking distance from hotel was short, that's the only upside to this. When we got there I was told it would be 237.00 for the night, on website it said 160.00, but because we didn't book it online or earlier that was there rate. Room was ok but was very noisy as there was some machine running most of the night outside the room. Then came breakfast buffet. The eggs are powder mix eggs, horrible tasting as was most of the breakfast, the fruit was the only thing that was ok, can't screw that up. The staff was polite, no issues except for the lady who check us in was not very helpful, It gave us a place to stay for the night, would not recommend this place.

Room tip: keep looking

We have a variety of room rates available online - with special prices for early bookers, and higher prices for late bookers. We are pleased you had somewhere to sleep until your actual hotel was available for check in. Our breakfast buffet attracts a large crowd - especially over the weekends. Kia Manuia.

Arriving late at night we booked this place for two nights before continuing to aitutaki...
Arriving there (1min walk from the airport terminal) staff was really nice at check-in. The rooms where much nicer than anticipated...and the breakfast selection was huge. The whole place is very well maintained and left nothing to ask for. We did love their bar and restaurant which really makes you want to take advantage oftheir all-day-happyhour...in the end we wished we would have stayed there during our whole stay on the island...

Booked this as we were flying onto Aitutaki early the next morning.
Arrived in the evening and picked up at the airport, not realising until the next morning just how close it is the airport you can actually walk if you don't have a lot of luggage!
On arrival there were two party buses outside waiting for the young party goers to board as it must of being doing an island pub crawl!
Extremely noisey (it was a Friday night).
Room was basic and clean and right next to the bar on the beach!!
Bar/restaurant inside were closed so had to use the beach bar. $10 for drinks, crowded and music blasting. We had our drink and my partner went in search for soft drinks. Four cans of coke were around$5-40!!! Went back to the room and drank our proper spirits.
Luckily the music stopped and people left at 11.30 p.m.
Hotel is handy if you have a short stopover but only for one night, but the rooms aren't that cheap

Thank you for staying with us. Hula Bar on the beach offers beers at $3.50, spirits at $4, and wines at $5. The bars shut down at 11.30pm Mon to Sat. Friday night is the busiest night at the Islander Hotel.
