Our only night out eating from our resort stay - was recommended by fellow compatriot (kiwi of course) . We taxied in from Denerau Island with another couple ($15 Fiji - there , $10 Fiji home ) . Has a somewhat unusual layout and decorations , certainly catering for the masses ( would seat about 160-280 diners ) . Rather empty the night we showed up - only about 2-3 tables being served. Perhaps we were late than most locals eat. The local wait staff here were rather amusing , they were trying there best , the local beers here were cheapest in the Nadi / Denerau area. Fiji Gold for $4.50 Fiji and $6 Fiji for Vonu- Bravo. The menu is very extensive - so great selection. however being an island and Fiji it was mostly Pork , Chicken and Fish . Very little beef or scallop dishes. Also unusual is to see Fish fingers on the entree menu ( which we did order - had to and enjoyed - battered fish shaped like a finger of course) we tried 3 x entrees and 5 x mains - one being a fried rice and we fairly well demolished the lot - the food was def. chinese a, very tasty and great value for money ( 6 x beers , 1x btl. just drinkable cheap red - 3 x entrees , 5 x mains - $168.00 Fiji for four) - excellent. It is located in main street of Nadi on a corner on the upper floor. If you like chinese and seek a change from the usual over-priced resort restaurant choices - this would be a good bet - Sentaistic
