I have stayed here several times for both attending and organizing conferences. Many conferences are held here, making it one of the popular places in Nadi for business customers.
However, this place runs on Fiji time - the reservation desk is unbelievably slow. They take days to confirm a booking, making YOU call them up to check if they have received your email. I called them once to inquire about a 50+ pp function and they never replied. Don't they want business?? For any reason, you cannot expect international standard business practice from them.
Now, the only reason I enter this premises is for the Japanese restaurant - which is luckily not under the hotel management.
To be fair, one positive thing. Once a participant of my workshop left his wi-fi device in his room, but had to leave Nadi immediately. The hotel was prompt in finding the device and posted it back to him. He appreciated the hotel's honesty and efforts to return his belonging.More
