Stunning villa. Spotlessly clean. The infinity pool takes your breath away every time you walk in the door. Mrs Va left us a phone to contact her and she was fantastic and so helpful. We hired a van and drive everywhere. Lautoka only 15 mins away, Nadi 20 mins away, Denarau 30 mins away. 5 minutes to sleeping giant garden and Sabeto mud pools. We had everything we needed and more. Definitely going back. We had 6 people but you could fit up to 13-14 people.
It's a tall order to keep 11 women happy but our wonderful driver Jope and the dear Property Manager Va did a wonderful job.
We were all very comfortable in Villa 3 and enjoyed many experiences including a dinner cooked onsite by Taste Fiji staff, a unique experience Sabeto Mud Pools & Hot Springs and a wonderful Sunday afternoon swimming and dancing at the nearby The Boat Shed. Both the mud pools and afternoon at the boat shed were suggested by Jope which we were very grateful for.
After booking all emailed questions were answered promptly by Taro.
The pool area was fabulous, kitchen & living area was well equipped and suited us 100%.
The only improvements would be to have menus in the information folder from nearby eateries & to regular spray for bugs & insects as there were many ants & a few rogue cockroaches.
Over all we all agreed it was a wonderful experience, we loved the privacy and the simplicity of arranging our transport. Nothing was ever a problem for Jope.
Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome & for the lovely goodbyes we received on leaving. Arohanui from the NZ Coffee Ladies!
Staff were exceptional especially the driver Jobi. He was able to take us on a day long tour of Nadi; providing knowledge about the local culture and customs along the way.
The house is located very close to the airport. The view from the pool, is amazing overlooking the beach from the front and mountains on the side.
The owners of the villa's have not built the property very well. The drains in the bathroom do not work. After a shower the bathroom is often full of water and the water tends to remain the whole day.
Also even with windows and doors opened the whole day- the bathrooms tend to smell really bad. I would not blame the local staff; as it did not look like a lack of cleaning of the property.
10 out of 10.
My family of 12 (9 adults, 3 children) stayed here from 19Dec to 23Dec2016. The adults are pretty hard to please but am happy to say everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay at sapphire villas. All the staff at the villa were so accomodating right From arranging accommodations with Mr Taro (always prompt with replying and understanding when we had issues paying online) to the cleaners & maintenance guys with Mrs Va leading a great team. Hadn't specificed how we wanted the beds arranged prior to arriving but the staff accomodated so willinging and without any fuss. My family were well informed with how everything worked and what was available to them for hire or purchase (food, transport, massages, ect). Transport was the most useful as they have a villa van that accomodated for my family of 12 to travel to and from our daily activities at good rates. We didn't need to hire our own vans as per our initial plans.
Rooms were great sizes and refreshing to have aircon in the rooms for a comfortable nights sleep. Very clean and luxurious as stated in its name. Having a pool worked wonders for our family as it was enjoyed not only by the kids but by the adults as well.
Special mention to such a hospitable man Jobe our driver. His friendly, caring and professional attitude has made our stay in Fiji an experience we will never forget & there's no more words to describe the wonderful service he has given to us all.
So from the Vetelino family, we simply say in Samoa "faafetai faafetai faafetai lava or vinaka vaka levu" thank you so much to all the staff at the villa.
We fully recommend this place to our families and friends in Nz, Samoa, Australia and around the world.
From the Vetelino family
Our extended family of. 6 adults and an older teenager found the villa very comfortable and well equiped. The staff were helpful but not intrusive. We would have appreciated a change of towels and sheets in our 8 day stay.
It's a bit remote needing transport to visit other parts of the island. Also it's a 10 minute walk to the resort nearby and the beach, although the beach was not suitable for swimming. The pool got good use though.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the comfort of the villa
We stayed at the villa in Nadi with extended family from NZ and Australia. The bedrooms are split into two separate wings/areas of the villa. In total there were 9 adults and 4 children aged between 6months and 7years. More than enough space for all of us.
As you enter the villa the very first thing you notice is the beautiful infinity pool which almost gets lost into the beautiful view of Nadi Bay. The only one negative about the pool was the depth. It was a little too deep for our youngsters however, the staff provided us with fun floaty devices that encouraged the kids confidence in the water. To be honest we couldn't get them out of the pool in a hurry!
There is a large and open kitchen, dining and lounge area with ample space for at least 12 people - in fact any less and you get totally lost in thought! To the right and left of the entrance you have two bedrooms. On either side you have two main bedrooms that both open out onto the balcony/patio area with infinity pool. They both offer a full ensuite inc. bath and large storage/wardrobe. Behind the master bedrooms are a large bedroom that can fit up to four adults each in comfort or if traveling with kids, you could comfortably fit more children in each.
The staff that looked after us (Mrs Va the house manager and Jope the driver in particular) were always on call to answer any questions we had and offer assistance immediately. AS was Taro, the owner who was overseas at the time but would always respond to any email i sent through. The mini van was an absolute life saver for all of us who stayed in the villa and the villa next door (we had two villas for lots of extended family both were identical). The mini van seats 15 people, however the only issue we had was on arrival due to luggage not being taken into consideration for space, although this was rectified by the Villa organising a Taxi for the excess guests/luggage space at no charge to us- Thank you Mrs Va and Jope!
The location is close enough to both Nadi town and Lautoka, which is handy for markets and getting around town. Since there is a kitchen (full sized) we took pleasure in almost daily visits for fresh produce and fantastic food - roti parcels with curry, traditional Indian snacks the list is endless....coconuts, fish, cassava and taro, papaya and watermelon all easily and deliciously available.
There are many sights and activities that can be organised through the villa or on your own, but be warned you may just want to laze around the pool all day long and take a nice stroll down to the beach and the Anchorage resort to enjoy a cocktail and other facilities that surround the villa. You do have the impression that there is nothing and no one else near by, but a few minutes drive or short walk away there are plenty of options. There is no need to have to travel to Denarau for boats as there is a jetty very close at the Anchorage that can be used for pick ups and drop offs for convenience. We took a trip to Beachcomber Island from here and it was great!
We loved the view, we loved the service, we loved the villa and to be honest there wasn't much to not like or enjoy. If I have to be picky, there isn't a flat grassy area at the back of the villa (where you will spend most of your time) for the kids to run around on, there is space at the front though.
One negative was the workers next door, who at some instances would use a power drill for work after 8pm, but because we were entertained by boisterous family it wasn't an issue for us. I would however, have been annoyed had I been trying to sleep or relaxed at those times. If I had mentioned it at the time to the staff managing the property I am sure it would have rectified.
Another attraction was the mud baths near the Sleeping Giant. My family went and they absolutely loved it. About a 10minute drive from the villa it was a great day out for the family to enjoy and not expensive either! After the mud baths we lunched on the water at the boat club (the exact name escapes me) but it was wonderful and a great way to end the day.
Over all we enjoyed our stay and yes I would come back again. My extended family are already talking about next year and bringing more friends and family to come and experience the beauty and the relaxation that you absolutely will endure! If you want a resort experience this is not for you - but if you do want relaxation, peace, quiet, the feeling like no one else is around you (unless they're in the villa next door) no hustle and bustle....this is for you. You can do as little or as much as you like and never want to leave.

We stayed for about 10 days here and enjoyed very much. Taro was very helpful and responded every questions we had about where to go for best snorkeling and island cruises and other activites. I love the beautiful view from this house, and of cause also the spacious kitcken:)
Enjoyed eating outside in the patio area, relaxing and eating breakfast and dinner there,
