We were so delighted to discover Eevas Fiji Paradise with stunning panoramic views of Maui Bay.
We rented the whole property for a week as we wanted to have our own 'retreat' and enjoy complete peace and privacy. Fiji Paradise was just what we needed, our own hidden sanctuary.
We spent our days on the huge deck reading books and watching the sea, and evenings again sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. The view is remarkable!!
We had morning ocean swims down at the wharf, went for walks, went to our favorite local places to eat Eco Cafe and Vilisite's, and of course to the Sigatoka Markets.
Veena made us the most INCREDIBLE fish curry which was so good that I asked her to teach me!
Eeva was amazing and so friendly to communicate with. We have since rebooked and cant wait to go back!
My cousin and I recently spent 8 wonderful days in Fiji and one of the highlights of our holiday was staying at Fiji Paradise Villa and having Eeva, Aziz and Veena take care of all our needs as 1st time visitors to this beautiful island. Eeva was a pleasure to work with as she promptly answered all questions about the property and also arranged for our rental car.
The Villa was everything advertised – fantastic mountain and ocean views, short drive to many Coral Coast activities (diving, surfing, mountain trekking, Fiji culture experiences) and completely furnished. The on-site staff truly made our visit complete. After almost 30 hours of traveling, Aziz and Veena greeted us with enthusiasm and a ready to eat supper.
During our visit Aziz, took us shopping at local markets, gave us advice on diving opportunities, introduced us to kava, made arrangements for massages and even took us fishing for our last Fijian meal. He speaks great English and really knows the area and local villagers as well.
Veena not only kept the Villa spotless but she also did our laundry and prepared supper for us 5 of the 8 nights. She is a great cook and uses local produce in her creations. Both of their top notch services were included in the rental price which is really a convenience when budgeting for the trip.
When I visit Fiji next time with my wife, I will try to stay at Fiji Paradise Villas again and I highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Fiji!
The house is really lovely and has the most amazing view. We were really well looked after by Aziz who was so helpful and even cut fresh Casava and cooked it for my 3 year old son. The plunge pool was fantastic to jump into after spending the day out and about, and coming back hot and tired, a very relaxing end to our day.
There aren't a huge number of restaurants available, but that was fine with us as we have young kids and didn't want to be out at night too often with cranky children anyway.
Wonderful views. Beds are comfy. Air con works well in top villa but not so much in the bottom one. Great for a group of friends or family. Wonderful couple who maintain the property as well as do the house keeping. Cheap massages done by the couple who maintain villa.
Only down side is the very little sign on the side of steep drive way stating that the drive way is steep. Needs a bigger sign & owner needs to fix drive way up as way to much gravel which mad our bus slide. It is suitable for smaller vehicles but we had a mini van & almost went over the side of a steep hill on arrival as it was dark with no lighting & raining very heavy with loose gravel is not safe. For the safety of bigger groups booking out the whole villa & only having a mini van available it would be great if owner fixed drive way just to be safe then sorry.
Besides that it's a wonderful & peaceful villa. Would recommend it to my family & friends. Thanks to Nate & Inia for your wonderful hospitality. We will miss you both dearly.
We stayed at Paradise Villas for two weeks and they stay was amazing. I'm from The Netherlands, my wife is Fijian and although my wife lives in Fiji (Nadi) also for her it was Paradise! The view every morning when you wake up is absolutely fabulous. Nate and Inia are their when you need them and Eeva (the owner) is their online to give you advice. We rented the main and the treehouse, so that some of our Fijian families could join us and also for them it was their best and most relaxing Holliday ever. We definitely come back. The supermarket and a big extra pool next to the Jetty is their downhill of the Villas. The steep climb to the Villas is just an adventure and totally didn't bother us. The privacy was 100% Vinaka Vakalevu! Sega na Leqa!
Our family stayed here for a couple of weeks and absolutely loved it! Amazing location, and awesome hosts. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. We are planning to go back again!
My wife and i stayed here with 3 teenagers and our 6 year old and cannot recommend it highly enough. Its a dirt road up to the houses (1 sleeps 6, the other 3) but the view is amazing. Both houses are reasonably well equipped and kept clean and tidy by the local housekeepers Nate and Inia, who are so friendly and helpful. The onsite pool is pretty small but magic on a hot day! At the bottom of the hill is a petrol station and supermarket with liquor store, and across the road from that is Maui Bay pier and the lagoon. Over the road from the petrol station and about 50m towards Suva is a gateway into the Maui Bay Clubhouse and if you walk up the steps and knock on the caretakers door and tell him you are staying at Paradise Villas, you can use their great seaside pool and even borrow some kayaks to paddle around in the lagoon, all at no charge. Sigatoka town is only about 20 mins away, but given the house is at the top of the hill you really need your own rental car, as its a very long walk down to the road to get a taxi.
