It was great to learn how much you and the family enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you all back to GPH.
We stayed at the Grand Pacific in Suva for three days on a business trip. The hotel was first opened in 1914, and completely refurbished in 2014. The lobby is spectacular, the pool area is right on the waterfront; the pool itself at just the right temperature. Our room was excellent; a huge xtra-king size super-comfy bed, and in the spacious ensuite was possibly the best shower I have ever used. The bar and restaurant were fine.. we ate there 3 nights and enjoyed it all. The house wine was most acceptable! If you need to stay in Suva, look no further.
Thank you for your wonderful endorsement of GPH, which is much appreciated by the whole team.
Smiling faces, excellent services and a comfortable bed made me feel at home after a hard day's work and was all that i needed. Facility is well maintained and view from the pool towards the harbour is priceless.
Hi Nacanieliw ,
Delighted to learn how much you enjoyed your stay and that you were able to feel so relaxed and at home, something not always possible when you are travelling on business.
The added value here is the connection to colonial era history and sense of place. Nice design and public space features. Wonderful, well trained staff. The food is attractive and tasty, good breakfast buffet. Sunset torch moment and cocktails are worthwhile.
It was great to receive your feedback. I agree that GPH has a magnificent sense of place (quite unexpected by many of our first time visitors who do not know our history) and I am pleased that you enjoyed all that we offer to the full. I do hope that you will have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the not too distant future,
We stayed at the Grand Pacific in mid-September 2017. This is a 1912-vintage Suva icon that fell into disrepair. It reopened in 2012, fully restored and offering elegant 5-star accommodation. But beware - it's VERY expensive!
The hotel is located at one end of Suva Harbour, and water view rooms offer spectacular views over the Harbour and the fringing-reef and ocean beyond.
It's just a moderate walk from the hotel along the main street into the central part of Suva itself.
Our room was large and very clean, and the beds were very comfortable.
The service is immaculate.
The hotel restaurant provides quality meals, although the serving portion size is small and the meals are expensive.
The swimming pool is clean and offers views over Suva Harbour.
I was delighted to learn how much you enjoyed your stay at GPH and do appreciate you taking the time to share your comments with the TA community.
The hotel bears important historical meaning and yet with modern facilities. Good breakfast and swimming pool. Staff are nice and helpful. The room condition is okay and beds are a bit too soft. Good amenities
Many thanks for taking the time to pass on your feedback, which is greatly appreciated.
