This is a large western style hotel aimed at business people and the wealthier tourist. Most of the rooms are slightly out of square because of the curve in the hotel frontage, which is black plate glass. Actually we didn’t think the bathroom floor was quite as clean as it should have been. There are two swimming pools, one outside and one inside.
Reception is helpful. Everyone seems to speak good English. Breakfast is by the front door and has an enormous range of delicious foods, including lots of sweet things like chocolate croissants, as well as savoury, such as several types of ham and cheese and even some smoked trout. The hotel is in Mother Teresa Square and a walk along the boulevard leads to numerous attractions such as museums and interesting buildings.
This is perhaps the “best” hotel we stayed in during our tour, but not the best! We preferred the more local hotels in smaller places to the glitz and glamour of the Mark Albania.
But for location and ease we would stay there again.
