One of the best vegan dishes I have tried abroad. The service is great, also the prices are affordable.

I came here on the back of a recommendation and was shocked by how long we had to wait for the starter (25 mins), the drinks (+20 mins) and the main (+75 mins!!!)

The waiter recognized it was unacceptable and took 10% off the bill, but that was insufficient.

Food wasn’t anything to shout about, either. Had the hummus to start and the 7-spices chicken for main.

Thank George F

Hello everyone,
It was not really planned to come to this restaurant, but we could not find a table at the one we wanted to go and I am so very happy that it happened. Aubergine proved to be a magnificent experience, amazing starters, very tasty dishes, I am drewling just remembering now. There are vegetarian friendly dishes to choose from, many nice interpretations of eggplant in different ways, very tasty one. I higly recommend the falafel, the seafood eggplant starter as our favorite choices so far. Go wild and try things that you could not otherwise find almost anywhere else in Bucharest. The only bad experience we had during our visit was thatthe waiter did not listen to us to bring firts the starters and then the mains, he insisted that it is busy and we would wait long. We also insisted that we want the starters first. In the end, we waited long anyway, we were really hungry and a humus dish would have been ready quite fast I think. When everything came, the waiter struggled to fit everything on the table, the warm dishes managed to turn cold and ir was challenging to pass plates from one another on a full table. Regardless of this, I would still rate this restaurant a 5 out of 5 and encourage you to try it.

It’s one of those places where you wanna feel at calm and enjoy good food. But mistaken orders, impolite and slow service don’t really complete the picture of the restaurant in a good way.
