I stayed here back in March, during a week long visit to Panama to study Spanish in Casco Viejo. I found the staff to overall be friendly, and would speak Spanish where I could with them, though I found most of the staff could speak English well enough. My room was huge and overall nice. Some small things that I did want to note were there would be issues at time with getting the room key to work in the elevator, and I thought the breakfast was very bland and could have been better, so I pretty much skipped it after a while.
Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location and I felt safe in the area as a solo woman traveler. I got food several times directly across the street from Pizza Grecia, particularly the chicken (they serve more than pizza), but there are several restaurants and stores in walking distance, and the train station is also a 5 minute walk.More
