We did a nice hike here early one Saturday morning. The parking lot already had several cars in it. Apparently, it's a popular mountain bike destination. There is a fee to enter, but we walked there from the Canopy Tower and they waived it for us as we weren't parking. It would be nice if there were some trails where mountain bikers weren't allowed, because many have music playing and it's hard when you're trying to see coatis and such. But most riders were friendly and would say buenas as they passed.
We did about 9 miles up and back. I'd love to return and would try to time it so it wasn't over a weekend.
