“Great Escape”
Reviewed 8 June 2009

This was our second time staying at Lakewood Camp for our annual fishing excursion. Maureen & Whit run a great operation. Food is inn quality and the fishing is as good as it gets in for brookies up to 5lbs and wild salmon up to 22". For the non fisher, the loons will lull you to sleep in the evening and numerous humming birds will greet you for breakfast at the main lodge. A great place to bring a book and relax over looking the lake. Bring your favorite bottle of wine for dinner. Cabins are rustic and clean and the setting is PRICELESS.
