We had a delicious lunch at the pub which consisted of oysters and corned beef cabbage rolls. The staff was super friendly .. when in Annapolis, try to eat there!

Best pub atmosphere in Annapolis! Killer corned beef and cabbage, Reuben and cream of crab!! Right off of Main Street. Being a local, it's always a stop when going Downtown.

We had so much fun here. The patrons are all very friendly. Special thanks to Vince, the owner and Bradley, the best bartender ever. I would like to make special mention of Jonathan who was working the front door the day of the St. Patrick's Day Parade. He was really getting verbally beat up by people who were not allowed in because they were at capacity inside. He was just doing his job folks! He kept a smile on his face the whole time while controlling the crowd. Love ya, Jonathan.

Made friends at a conference, decided we'd all (12!) head out for dinner and drinks late (8ish?) on a busy Saturday night, the night before (as it turned out) a parade. Yet somehow, we all sat right down, they let us move some tables together, and had no trouble giving us all separate checks. Food was delicious, drinks selections was good, and service was incredibly accommodating and talented. Highly recommend for large groups, though there were nice snug little booths if you'd prefer.

Castlebay is the kind of place you won't want to leave. The food is good and the Guinness is great but it's the people that make the difference. The bartenders know their craft and you'll get to know them quickly. Come a second time and you'll consider them a friend. The owner is often found also, and his graciousness, and the quality of his stories, is unmatched! The place comes alive on Friday and Saturday nights with great live music, but it's equally good for a quite lunch on a weekday afternoon. I've been here enough times to know it's something special. It's the real deal. The best pub in one of the greatest small towns in America.
