The rooms were clean and well kept, and the place had a nice ambience.
The satellite TV had barely any channels available .
The internet was weak and very slow.
The town of Adams is quite depressed and has very little going for it, however, you can drive to nice hikes and swimming lakes.

We chose Adams for its location between Mt Greylock, the tallest peak in Southern New England and Savoy Mountain State Forest. Both places have stunning waterfalls, clear swimming ponds and hiking trails. We are located directly on an 11 mile bicycle path which passes next to us and goes through beautiful rivers, mountains and lakes.

We are also located 10 minutes away from Mass MoCA, the largest modern art museum in the country which has restaurants, a performing arts venue and programming year round.

Our satellite TV has 150 channels. The HDTV flatscreen TVs also have DVD players and are located in every room. There is also a complimentary DVD library.

This is a unique eco-friendly B&B with each room uniquely designed. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Aloha Room for 2 nights and loved it! There was a jacuzzi tub in our room and great eco-friendly bath products were a great amenity, along with organic sheets and towels. A wonderful breakfast was served each morning, and the hosts are more than friendly and willing to suggest places to visit in the area. This is a hidden gem in Adams, MA with a great bike/running path right behind the B&B.
It was our first visit to the Berkshires, but will not be our last. We look forward to coming back again!

I had an opportunity to stay at the Topia Inn this past weekend while attending a workshop in North Adams. The accomodations were wonderful. Host/owner Nana was so sweet and welcoming. We loved the bed and liked the sink so much we are thinking of buying the same one for our new bathroom at home. The location to North Adams and Route 2/8 was only 10 minutes away. It was great not to have to carry all of the cosmetics and toiletries from home and I loved all of the products that the Inn provided. If you are planning a trip to the Berkshires this is the place to stay.

Three nights in a warm welcoming and wonderful space where our bodies and minds relaxed and redicsovered how they are meant to be. We came here because it is convenient for our walking the Appalacian Trail - and found this hidden gem tucked away by the old rail line in Adams which is now a bicycle path and GREAT running track. Our hungry selves were set up for the day by Paula's wonderful nourishing breakfasts with organic yoghurt, home made maple syrup and the like. we listened to the enriching sounds of sitar and guitar by Nana the co-owner who is a New York-based composer-performer. We hopped and skipped up the trail to mount Greylock and recovered in the beautiful Greek room (each room has its theme) with its fabulous Jacuzzi and light show, and pampered ourselves with the hotel-supplied organic cosmetics. it was great to be somewhere that feels good, smells good and is good, and to be walking around barefooted and in comfort. Feng Shui in practice. The website contains good and accurate photos.

The owners didn't miss a trick in searching out the most environmentally-friendly materials to renovate an old building into a charming b&b ... but they also included amenities like luxurious bathroom fixtures and fittings, elegantly-served breakfast, and personal touches to make guests feel welcome. Definitely worth a visit!

My wife and I are interested in green technology and products so we were interested in seeing how successful Topia Inn incorporated green living into each aspect of the inn. Its location in the heart of Adams was very convenient. The bike trail is literally out their back door. All the rooms are uniquely decorated by local artists and the provided bath products were as advertised. The vegetarian breakfast was very good including fresh fruit, organic yogurt, homemade blueberry flax seed muffins, banana bread and an herb egg souffle. There was a mistake with our booking but the staff handled it very smoothly. If we are back in the Berkshires we'd stay there again.

The Topia Inn was wonderful. We stayed in the Moroccan room and loved it.

We were greeted immediately upon our arrival, and made to feel like we were home. We took a tour of the place and learned how to use all of the modern fixtures. After we returned from dinner we had tea on the porch, before retiring. Even if you do not have chemical sensitivity, or live a chemical free life style, you will appreciate how fresh and clean it is here. The air is filtered, the toiletries are organic as well as the bedding, sheets and towels. I had an amazing sleep and upon waking had a color therapy jacuzzi. It really was delightful.

In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast from fresh ingredients, served in small courses. We finished our coffee on the front deck in the morning sunshine. We love the deck.

The Topia is nestled on a side street in the village. There is ample parking near by, and it is easy to get to lakes, museums and other great attractions in the area.

Staying at the Topia Inn was a great experience. It is clean and comfortable. I wish more people would take the step to have an environmentally conscious and chemical free place for people to stay. The proprietors of the Topia Inn are kind and gracious, and they have created just that kind of place. Leave your products at home and take your shoes off at the door for an inspiring experience.
