After wandering around the village, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. With inclement weather in the forecast, we were hoping to tuck into this charming tavern. We scored, and I mean scored reserved seats at the bar. Where we encountered...Caityln. Awesome service, great personality and all around fun person.
We chose a cup of chowder...rich and delicious. Caesar salad was crisp and flavorful. But the highlight was the braised short ribs and Bolognese.
Perfection. Accompanied by a great Bordeaux. Finishing the night with a maple mousse topped with chantilly creme was just...so right.
In our annual trek to Nantucket, we have had some fantastic meals. This certainly ranks in the top 3, and the comfortable friendly atmosphere is perfect.
