Nowhere better for a simple late lunch and a glass of ..... the chowder was great but it was the location that did it for us. Tables outside seem to be a rarity in Nantucket in October, even tho the weather was warm warm, warm.

Thank Jonathon R

Go for no other reason then the VERY best lobster bisque ever made! Creamy delicious bisque with huge chunks of lobster but....
The puff pastry on top literally takes it over the top! When your spoon cracks open the top and the soup comes billowing out - lobster ❤️ love at first site. Always my very first stop when visiting Nantucket!

Based on Trip Advisor recommendations we had lunch here when taking a day trip. From the moment we walked in we loved the atmosphere! The seasonal beer in tap and food were very good. We liked the fresh made chips with onion dip.

The Brotherhood is always one of the first places we stop in Nantucket, and usually stop a couple times while on the island for lunch or drinks/apps at the bar. They have a nice, varied menu and the food is always good...from salads to burgers and sandwiches. Great atmosphere downstairs with low ceilings and a very 18th century ambience. We also like to sit outside on the patio when open.

Great French onion soup and homemade chips with onion dip.

Service was lacking this time...efficient but not very friendly.
