This is a good place to party. Not to Sleep. The room smelt a bit funny. Good food though but Antigua is not short of good food. I would rather stay at a quieter place and go out to party so i had a place to come back to when i was done partying. I thought that that staff could use a few lessons in being helpful as well.

Decent place, but expensive, and noisy in the mornings. All of the rooms run off the main atrium area which is noisy from 7am.

Decent, clean rooms and the place feels secure which is good.

Breakfast is included and is OK, but the breakfast is MUCH better at the Black Cat hostel just 150m away, which is a slightly quieter place. Tours and buses booked in the Black Cat are also cheaper, which goes to show that Jungle Party will mark up all they can....

Extremely disappointed with this hostel. The young girl on the front desk was very very rude and tricked us into staying in the more expensive dorm rooms, even though we had a reservation for the cheaper room. Everything has tax on top of it, the beds are extremely uncomfortable and the people the hostel attracts are people who aren't travelling on a budget. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Its ridiculously priced for a hostel. We left after 2 nights and moved to a much better hostel with friendly staff where we stayed for 8 weeks. The only positive thing I could say about this place is Kyle who works at night was super helpful and apologetic for the other staff.

The location of the hostel is pretty central in Antigua. From here you can easily go anywhere worth going. And they offer service shuttles to take you, for an additional price of course. When you get to the hostel you can notice its pretty safe because you need to be buzzed in- though this can get annoying in waiting for them to buzz you in or out it makes one feel secured. They have cheap and not so cheap but still affordable rooms. Depending on your group size you might need 1 room or be divided, like mine was. There is one set of bathrooms, fairly clean for the whole hostel. The rooms look kept and the service was good. There is free breakfast included with your stay- not the best food eaten at Antigua, but you kinda get what you pay for.

One of my favorite cities in Guatemala is Antigua and for 1 month it was a home to me. I went every day to Jungle party. I really recommend to go there. You my ask why??? well here is why?
Food is the best food that I could find and the cost is not high. The service Uff is amazing people there are all about the serving u and helping u out. They all go the extra mile specially the manager Alicia, she is not only a great host, but also can help u out with your trip giving u tips and even personal advised. You really feel like home. The Hamacas are relaxing and you can feel that special energy that antigua has. The barrel beer is great and is not that expensive. I really have fun and believe me if I ever go back I will definitely stay in the hostal. Thank u Alicia for all the good things, moments and service that u had with me and my boyfriend is all much appreciated.

Room Tip: A tip for all of u planning to go to Guatemala, u have to go to Antigua and stay in Jungle Party the...

Free breakfasts are great and you get a few options to choose from. Beds were comfortable and clean. We met some people and went out with them - the hostel itself isn't a party but antigua is! Don't go out at night alone! Very fun city and this hostel was in a good location. Food is expensive (besides the free bfast) but the smoothies are delicious.

Room Tip: Rooms downstairs are about $10 a night but there is also a loft with beds around $5 or $6 a night...
