“Perfect location, magical view.”

We stayed for five days with our adult children. Lovely old townhouse but with all mod cons and the most amazing roof terrace where we breakfasted and had a pre dinner glass of wine or two. Situated minutes from the Stradun and close to all the sites but also very convenient for a taxi drop off point at the Buza gate. We would recommend to all but the elderly or very young. You will remember the views across the old town roofs, over the city walls to the sea, as the sun goes down, for years to come!

“Perfect location. Lots of space and wonderfully set up for rentals”
Reviewed May 7, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

This rental was perfect for me and my two girlfriends as a city break. It is inside the Old City walls WITH outside space. A rarity. It is a narrow townhouse so there are stairs to go up and down but we spent most of our time in the lounge/kitchen area and on the roof terrace. The roof terrace has amazing views. A couple of cushions for the chairs wouldn't have gone amiss up there though as the seating wasn't the most comfortable, but that's just being picky.

The bedrooms were fine for our needs, two doubles, and one single. It was a very strange encounter with the lady who looks after it when she showed us around. We'd booked 3 bedrooms for the reason that we are 3 single ladies who don't like sharing - and we'd made that clear on the booking form. On showing us the largest double room, she made clear that it was large enough for two so she closed up the second double as we obviously would not need the bedding!!!! I think she just wanted to save washing the sheets at the end, bless her!

The place is right in the centre. I don't think the place is suitable for one with very young children, or those with mobility problems purely because of the stairs onto the roof terrace are VERY VERY steep and narrow! but that said those with mobility problems probably wouldn't be choosing dubrovnik as its ALL stairs/slopes in the town anyway.

Overall a wonderful place. I think with the rental cost should have covered taking the only one bag of rubbish to the bins in the town. We had to take it away with us along with our heavy bags which was a bit off. Especially as we'd stripped the beds and emptied all the bins for her! Fabulous and worth every penny and the owner is VERY good to deal with!

Dear Madam
Our reply regarding your comments:
1. Regarding rooms we were informed that our representative never lock the room, she just removed extra towels and pillows because she made my mistake accommodation for 5 people instead for 3. If you needed extra towels or pillows, all you have to do is just ask , you would not be a first guest who ask for extra towels or pillows.
2.Regarding steps : You obviously did not read description of Vila Mila, it clearly said in description of Vila Mila that is not suitable for people with walking difficulties or small children as all Dubrovnik is a full of steps.
3.Regarding rubbish : it is rule to empty rubbish daily not weekly, as you were there for 5 nights and we were told that you have not emptied rubbish at all.
4.Regarding complain that you had to carry rubbish with suitcases, we do not understand , you left premises at 11,am and took the rubbish, ( normal check out is 10 am) and our representative allowed you to leave your suitcases till p.m. ( because of your late plane). We do not understand as you stated how you had to carry rubbish and luggage at the same time. Our representative also said that when you get back to pick up the suitcases she let you to use the bathroom and toilets to change ( even that she already cleaned up for the next guests) .Once again we do apologise if there is any convince as we can see that you were a bit upset with our representative. if there was any problem we feel that you should contact us direct by email or phone and we would gladly correct any possible misunderstanding .
Your Sincerely Zvjezdana

“Holidays filled until the last minute”
Reviewed November 27, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

On summer 2013 we decided to spend the Croatian side of the Adriatic Sea, in the beautiful centuryes-old Dubrovnik . We stayed in the heart of town, in a beautifull restored 15 th century house, named Villa Mila. On a walking distance from many shops, caffes, great restaurants and well-know attractions such as the walls of the city. Enjoying the sights and getting to know the city and its beauty of our week-long holiday, to us,it was too short. We also visited a small island named Lokrum near the old town. The island can be reached in ten minutes by boat ride, which we really enjoyed . On the island we visited the monastery and a botanical garden and enjoyed the excellent seafood lunch. The city thrilled us, in Villa Mila we really enjoyed it and we plan to return next year for a longer time so that we can explore destinations around Dubrovnik .We recommend Vila Mila to everybody.

“Beautiful apartment and memories for a lifetime”
Reviewed November 24, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

This summer we visited Dubrovnik and spend a dream vacation right in old town in Vila Mila. Location of Vila Mila iz unbeatable, close to all events, main square and all major attractions. Although located in the center of old town the Villa is very quiet and we enjoyed every minute of staying in it. The balcony offers a beautiful view of Dubrovnik and the view of the sunset from our dreams. Vila is decorated with style, spacious and very comfortable for staying. The owners are very nice and helpful. At the end of our trip, we had a little accident. As we rush to get on an airplane we forgot one suitcase in Vila Mila. When we realize that we are missing luggage we were too late to go back . The situation was saved by the owner ,she done her best and organized transport our suitcase that arrives before leaving the plane. Staying at Villa Mila and selection Dubrovnik for our vacation this year was the best decision. We created memories for a lifetime.
