“Beautiful area, very attentive hosts”

An excellent first experience of Croatia from start to finish. Stijepo was very quick to reply to any correspondence before arriving and met us at the airport to show us to the local supermarket and the villa itself. It is in a remote area so car hire is essential to get to shops, cafes and restaurants - the nearest are about a 15 minute drive away down a quiet mountain road. Stijepo took some time to take us through the villa and some of the sights in the local area. All of his recommendations were excellent. The villa was well equipped and comfortable. The wood-fired barbecue is worth trying, so that you can enjoy an alfresco meal in beautiful surroundings. A lovely quiet place to relax away from it all but close enough to Cavtat and Dubrovnik to satisfy any tourist.

The accommodation is very good, everything you need is available. The villa itself is spacious and clean and well equipped. The pool is small, but clean and just what you need after a day exploring. Stijepo was more than helpful, meeting us at the airport, ensuring we got to the villa, and he came with treats, too! Do have a go with the barbeque, its worth it. Very enjoyable overall.

“Perfect Spot to unwind with the most amazing views”

We booked this rental direct with the owner and found him to be outstandingly helpful from start to finish. The house is in a quiet village location with beautiful views - just perfect if you want to sit outside and relax by the pool. The house itself is perfectly equipped with everything you need along with an outside BBQ for warm evening cooking.

Stijepo very kindly met us at the airport where we rented our car - we then followed him to the nearest supermarket and did a quick shop while he waited - we then followed him to the house. On arrival there were some homemade treats from his mom which were delicious! He then took the time to show us around the house and tell us a bit about the village and neighbours.

We had a lovely time here and would recommend it for peace and quite - and we mean peace and quite - you do need a hire car and can't go anywhere without it, there are no restaurants, bars or supermarkets to walk to which is part of it's charm. The nearest restaurant is about 20mins away and well worth it, the nearest supermarket is about 15mins away and has everything you need. Cavtat is about 30mins away and parking is easy and cheap when you get there - perfect for a day out.

Whilst we were there Stijepo mentioned that they also had apartments in Cavtat itself so we asked if we could swap the tail end of our booking to one of those so we could use it as a base to walk about and abandon the car. He was more than happy to do this, so we spent 11 days at the house and 3 at the apartment which worked perfectly. It also ment we got more of his mom's home made cake and juice and another warm and friendly welcome.

The family could not have done more to make us feel welcome

Stijepo and his Mother and Father are very nice people. surprises such as cakes, figs and grapes are really great. stijepo also has a nice neighbors. Ivana and Marian are very friendly, kind and cheerful. it was a fantastic holiday with great people. invitation to Poland is always up to date. greet and tight hugs for you!
