Found this castle very interesting well worth the walk to it although we noticed some older people with reduced mobility struggling to get around as the outside is very uneven ground and the walkways were there has been railings had fallen away in parts and you do have to climb over a couple of small rocky areas to get round.

A very accessible monument, and visitors are free to wander the ramparts without restriction or needing a guided tour. There are great views across the harbour and the town, and some of the pathways test your climbing skills.

Great place to visit, with a lot of variety.
Interesting section on boxing in Croatia.
Excellent exhibition pre 1st world war to post 2nd world war. Only thing that could improve would be some translation for the interviews of people taken to the concentration camps.
Great views of Pula from the top of the castle, and very helpful staff.

A great place to visit an interesting display on boxing and Pula. The historical section about the wars was really informative. It has no signs the kids could not touch but they can not and got told off so be aware.

The Kastel has a reasonable entrance fee of 20kn. It is well worth the fee just for the views, especially from the top of the watch tower which you can climb. You can see the whole of Pula.

There was a WWII exhibit in one of the buildings which was interesting enough.

You can also walk around the grounds outside the castle which doesn’t cost anything.

After visiting St' Francis Church and Monastery, I saw a sign regarding this Kastel . There is more inclined walking on cobblestones!

Entrance fee is 20 kunas, discounts for children and Seniors. A group of cannons had been laid in front of the Kastel. There are 2 museums inside: exhibits regarding the German Occupation and the other one is about boxing. Interesting combinations of exhibits here!

One can go around the grounds of this attraction to have a panoramic view of the city. Another option is to climb the tower for better views!

The view that you get form the tower is worth the price of admission but not much else is. There is a boxing museum and an anti-fascist presentation within the walls. This is not an easy climb.

The castle offered a panoramic view of pula and the view was really nice. There is not much to see or appreciate within the castle though. Its beautiful, but not that great. Dont remember the entrance fee - i think 20 or 30 kuna pp.

This was the first place we visited in Pula & we found it rather underwhelming. Apart from the views & a few cannons there isn't much else to see. You cannot see inside unless you pay to visit the Museum of Istria which is currently the main purpose of the Kastel interior.

There isn't any information about this Venetian Fort given outside so the visit is mainly for the views.
There are no toilet facilities without accessing the Museum.

On the top of old town there is this fort. Entrance fee is small but the view from fort is great. Also in the fort there are weapons from WW I & II and cannons from 17/18 century
