We spent one night in Zadar in July 2018 during our Croatian trip consisting of the route Makarska - Krka- Zadar - Plitvice - Trogir. The stop at Zadar was to get some rest after visiting Krka and getting ready for Plitvice.

It was a bit difficulty to find the reception. You could not reach it by car, so we had to park it elsewhere and get the last 100 meters by foot. The check in was fast, and the receptionist took us to our apartment (I think it was apartment #4). It was located at the main street, was an renovated on-room flat in a 100 years old building. The first impression was truly positive, the renovation had worked out well and the room was quite modern. The only thing we missed was a wardrobe to put our clothes. The room took four persons, where our kids slept on the bed sofa. The room had wifi that worked quite well.

The location of our apartment was perfectly in the center of Zadar, with short walking distance to the pier with Sea Organ and to the other sight seeings nearby. This was a definitive advantage as we had issues finding a parking place for the car. Once you find one, you will not want to change it. The public parking places are divided in zones, where the more central zones are a bit more expensive. Maximum parking time is three hours (08-22) so you need to buy a new ticket every three hours.

We ate breakfast in the reception restaurant, which was sort of a disappointment. You had to pick a menu item out of 5-6 options, and the portions were quite small. If you want an extra cup of coffee you'll have to pay for it. This was a big difference to the buffet breakfasts we are used to during our trips. I would recommend to take the breakfast elsewhere if you need a steady breakfast to get you going.

Thank You so much for your long and detail review! Parking is usually a problem during the summer season, but we're trying to manage it. We're happy you're satisfied with the apartment, location and the service. We'll try to improve the breakfast with more options and larger portions.

Hope to see you again!

What a amazing city we just loved Zadar and the people of Zadar are so warm. We stayed at the Central Apartments - Integrated Hotel and our stay was wonderful. Our rooms were spotless and the staff was so warm and so very helpful. They went out of there way to welcome us and to make sure all of our needs were attended to. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Zadar. This a a 5 star hotel.

Amazing and wonderful, our favorite adjectives. :) We have a great responsibility and a duty to make our hometown your own, but we wouldn't want it any other way! We love Zadar, and we'll make sure you love it as well. It is a privilege to get a feedback as great as this one, it makes us feel great pride in what we do!

We had the two apartments (#1 and #2) in the attic at Narodni Trg, both of them very stylishly renovated. It got quite hot up there, but the air condition was working fine. Great to watch the all-day, all-night buzz on the main square from high above, including folklore presentations until late at night (but the new windows are almost 100% soundproof! if you close them)
The Central Café is several blocks away but all of stari grad Zadar is walking distance. The staff there is helpful from the start, giving all kinds of suggestions on what to do and accompanying you to the apartment, even helping with the luggage. The café is also the venue for breakfast (sparse but a tasty selection).
Only downside: the bathrooms have a funny smell, but that must be due to old pipes, not much to do about it---best to close the toilet lid and the doors). Also: make sure to close the shower doors really tight, otherwise the bathroom gets flooded.

Room tip: #1 and #2 are perfect but also 3 floors up w/o a lift, so think of luggage and legwork. #1 has an additional loft bed = fun for (1-2) kids

Our hostess recommended this cafe for the best fresh eggs in Zadar. Located in a lane, we found this beautiful setting, peaceful but with the sound of the church bells ringing in the background and the buzz of other customers, she was certainly correct. Not verging away from my normal Sunday breakfast my friend and I decided to share the 3 egg Green Omelette with spinach and cheese, a coffee and croissant special. We were delighted, the food was delicious, filling and the service was exceptional.

We strive for greatness, but that's out of our reach.. However, to get a review like this sure makes our efforts appreciated! To make somebody a Sunday morning feel homely fills our hearts with immense pride! See you some other Sunday morning, somewhere!
