Wonderful old town. Many places to stop, enjoy live music and have coffee or food. If you decide to walk only it is still great with many things you discover if you look carefully.

This reminded me of Venice lots of small streets and cafes. Very busy when the ships come in so avoid in the day. Best to go around 6pm when it’s slightly quieter. Stunning to walk round and some good value restaurants. Do some research before you go if you intend to have diner. Don’t be fooled by the copy watches.

A must see destination, one of my top 10, cradled between the mountains with its own stunning bay. Great shopping and a feeling that you have been transported back hundreds of years. Great food, wine and everything moves at a slowed pace.

The white-stone old town area of Kotor is filled with well preserved Medieval architecture and monuments built between the 12th and 14th century. This small, walled town was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979, and is definitely worth a visit -- but not when multiple cruise ships in town. Supposedly they are going to limit it to "only" 3 large ships at a time. Still too many tourists in a very small area.

Fascinating Old Town. Reminiscent of Europe's best cities - Lisbon, Venice, Edinburgh. Somehow manages to absorb all its visitors and retain its ancient charm.
