After an hectic rainy morning in kotor , we entered by chance this small restaurant located inside the old town. we ordered 3 plates: pizza " fruit de mer", risotto with squid ink and spaguetti carbonara. The food were very delicious, the staff were friendly. More friends saw us and ordered fish, pizza and risotto. we all enjoyed the food and the price was acceptable.

We went to this restaurant one evening as it had roast lamb on the menu and our non-fish-eating friend said there was only so much chicken and steak she could eat! All three of us decided to go for the lamb and while it wasn't roast lamb as we know it, being more oven-baked with potatoes mixed in, it was very tender and tasty. The waiting staff were very attentive - a bit too attentive in fact and rushed to take our starter plates away before we had quite finished as the main course was ready and being put on the table! It loses a star for this reason, otherwise it was a pleasant meal sitting outside.

Not much more to say that your typical tourist trap. The plating of the fish was a nice touch but the rest of the food was unimpressive.

After hiking to St. Johns, found this place to refuel inside the old city walls. We sat outside and ordered the local wine while we contemplated the pages and pages of food choices. The antipasto / cheese / meat platter is HUGE! Very good, too. (By the way, the local cats don't like the prosciutto!) We ordered a variety of main entrees: lamb (the cats preferred this instead!), shellfish, chicken. More than enough food. We would have been better off ordering half and sharing. The shellfish was in a fabulous sauce. Highly recommend it. The wait staff is quiet but friendly. PLEASE NOTE: TAKE CASH! No credit cards.

My wife and I visited on a whim. The waitress wasn't very communicative but it's not a huge deal as we're both in Ukraine and we are used to this. My wife ordered the pasta Bolognese. It was a huge portion of noodles you'd find in home cooked spaghetti with what literally looked like Hamburger Helper meat. She didn't finish her portion just due to size, but also wasn't fond of the taste.

I ordered the T-Bone steak, and can really just say "meh." It wasn't bad, but it wasn't something to write home about.

I will say that the prices seemed a bit steep considering what we got, and prices for drinks are generally outrageous in Kotor.

The place was dark and full of cigarette smoke with... frankly, terrible music playing a bit too loudly that night.

The main reason we left with such a bad taste in our mouths was due to the slick move of the waitress putting down a basket of bread for us. We didn't specifically order it, so we assumed it was complimentary. It's not, it's on the menu and it costs .50 cents and we were charged. We aren't upset about being charged and we didn't care about .50 cents, but the act of putting the bread without our ordering it and then not even telling us that it will cost money seemed a bit underhanded.
