I felt sorry but upset, at the state of that Hotel. Such a prime position, smack siding the night life of Plovdiv, the main thoroughfare of Plovdiv's 'Oxford St.' come Soho. So impressive(could be done) in it;s huge foyer, but so neglected. There were 2 lifts servicing the floors, one was loosely lined with very thin Ply, held together with some tape, it made me apprehensive to use, but it got us up, thankfully. We had a magnificently large room, simple but impressive, with plenty of chairs, wardrobe space with just few(5) hungers, a large and small table and an impressively supersized bed and headboard. The bed coverings were a very thin quilt(?) and was wondering, if every night they have a guest in there, do they change the cover? Perish the thought.
All well and good(almost) BUT their drainage system is so primitive it stank, so strongly I had to cover the floor outlet of the Bathroom, the wet room, with a towel, AND close the door, so I could stay in the bedroom!! No, I would not use it again, just for that toilet stench. Such a shame!!More
