Perfect location! Right in the middle of the old town city square. You can see the big Brasov sign on the mountain when you walk out of the hotel. The hotel had a little parking lot up the street, but they have limited parking spots available. So ask if they have a spot available, if not , there are parking lots around you have to pay for. The room was small, like, small enough to not be able to roll your luggage around to the other side of the room because the bed and wall are that close to each other. You don't spend all that much time in the hotel room anyways. We really enjoyed the breakfast that was included. Would recommend this hotel.

Wow! I picked this one on the internet and you never know. What a great experience. The hotel was lovely, helped us with parking and in the absolute perfect location. Our room was at the back of the hotel, very quiet and lovely views from the windows. It had lovely exposed beams (probably was an attic), a sitting area and a modern bathroom. Exactly what you'd want being in the old town and just steps away from everything. I wish we'd spent more nights in Brasov at this hotel. Let's say my other picks for hotels were not at the same quality.

Stayed here for a few days on a trip through Transylvania. The hotel is located directly opposite the main square with great bars and restaurants on the doorstep, literally in the case of the restaurant in the hotel basement! The only downside of the location is the proximity to the church bells, which will wake you up at the crack of dawn if you're a light sleeper. Our room was a good size, very clean with a big bathroom. The breakfast was also first class.

I ate dinner with my husband since we've heard about the restaurant. The place is very special but the food was a great disappointment. Actually it is specialized in Mexican food with no success. The meat was too cooked and the grilled salmon was dry as the dessert. At last it was also very expensive. Skip it if you can and go to another restaurant. There are many other very good choices in Brashov.

All I can say is that the room we received must be far different from others reviewed by TA - I am in it now and it is small, dark, and not at all comfortable. I recently had knee surgery and we requested a room on a lower floor- but they assigned us one on the third which, to Americans, is really the 4th floor. We started to trudge up the steep stairs with our luggage, as there is no elevator, but returned to reception when we realized we really could not make the assigned room and literally begged for another - and so they gave us room 203 - on the 3rd floor - not much of an improvement but at least one floor less. It is small and drab, with a view of the gutters next door, a low, hard bed, a chair, tv and 2 low night tables - with lights too low to read from - and nothing else - not even a luggage rack and so our suitcases are on the floor taking up most of the floor space. Heaven help us if we need to get up during the night! The bathroom is small, with a shower but no tub. The hotel is in a good location, just off the main square but there is nothing special here. Old does not always mean quaint.
