We arrived and had a dreadful room. TVs didn't work or the shower. Water was brown. We were quickly moved to a much better room. Good was not good. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Overall hotel is ok for price.

if you pay little, you get little. and if you're not satisfied, then stay home next time or invest proper money to have the option to stay in a proper hotel!

Last summer I was in the Royal Beach Hotel in Sousse. It is next to the beach, 30 minuts walk to the city center. I was there with my parents and sister.
Room weren't clean. Bathroom was dirty and curtains were burnt with cigarettes, and the smell of them filled the room.
Food in this hotel was delicious. Fresh meals and there was a buffet.
Hotel is near the sandy beach. There were a lot of beach chairs. The sea was beautiful, but beach was dirty.
Although the food was good I don't want to come back.

We stayed here in October 2013, the hotel is ok and in a good location. The rooms are nice big and cleaned every day. We only stayed for breakfast which was basic but there are also lots of restaurants near by with reasonable prices too. This hotel is rite on the beach also, it's a good hotel to stay at if your exploring Tunisia

Well nice again I have been to visit this hotel. I had a brilliant time. Don't get me wrong. There is still things that need to be updated and some things that need to be changed but they are getting there. Because of the lack of guest, we were fed from a set menu. This meant that all the food was cooked fresh. It was varied and it was tasty. The security on the beach kept the sellers at bay and it was fun to watch them chase the assorted vendors, away. Rooms cleaned every day. No entertainment in the hotel but that was fine. We didn't mind. As long as the beer was cold and the food was hot it made a good holiday. We are going back as soon. As possible.

My wife only managed to eat only one evening meal the week we stayed. The photos do not show this hotel as it is (`The Babylon` lounge was closed, the beach bar was closed.the snack bar could only supply tuna salad french bread sandwich and chips).
The restaurant shown on the photos is in a state of disrepair and was not open. The staff were friendly and tried their best. The hotel is frequented by locals (no problem there) but the presence of pimps and prostitutes was a different matter. The bar had limited stock but the kitchen was even worse. There was no ambiance or atmosphere in this dated residence. Thank god the sun shone. The management should be ashamed
