The reinvented Cafe Zouk on Khayabane-Shujaat continues to impress with its excellent cuisine and service. We recently invited some friends for lunch and everyone left raving about the experience.
The appetisers included crispy and fresh fried calamari, Greek salad and stuffed mushrooms followed by entrees of spicy black pepper chicken, charbroiled chicken shitaki mushroom, shrimps with lemon grass and chillies, Thai beef curry with basil, Thai special noodles and fillet of red snapper. The wiped clean plates spoke volumes of the yum factor!
The only inconsonant note was the bread pudding - we all found it to be extra sweet and the bread extra thick.
But, by and large, the Zouk experience still remains "zabadast!"
