We enjoyed 3 days at Le Bel Air and would go again...our room was comfortable and no noise - we didn't think on the otherside of the river to main Luang Prabang as issue. We walked it, over the iron bridge - and then tuk tuk. The menu was excellent, and we tried the local cuisine. The staff were all friendly and the chocolate mousse is a must! We'd certainly book again. Thanks for a memorable visit despite 3 days of rain.
Two Aussies from Tasmania - over 70.

Room Tip: Ask for the bungalows very comfortable and no street noise.

I am a meeting planner and graduated in Hotel Management having worked for over 10 years in The Ritz Carlton Hotels. I was expecting a local hotel with genuine service of course not a 5star hotel. But not at all what we got. Arrived at the airport and no pickup was available as promised on reservation. Details were provided to the hotel and needed to pay taxi on own.
Arrived at the hotel and construction is going on... Nothing was informed in advance... View from the room is over the pool construction and noise starts before 8am. Wifi does not work in most resort, only restaurant and barely... For the price of 120€ is outrageous...

Desapointing.

Rooms are pretty nice and clean with a spacious bathroom. Gardens well taken care of.

This was a nice resort in a quiet location next to the river and old metal bridge. It was a 20 minute walk into the town centre, so all the attractions were quite nearby. The bridge only takes pedestrians and motor cycles. They offer a shuttle into the city, but it is infrequent. There is a free shuttle service to and from the airport also. The reception, dining area, gardens and room blocks were all in wood and well maintained with a nice ambience. The breakfast was basic but very nice. Our room was spacious and comfortable with air conditioner, hostess tray, fridge, and safe. It was clean, quiet and had a large window overlooking the garden. It had good free WiFi and a TV, which had very bad reception. The only problem with the room was that it was poorly lit. The room led onto a private balcony with table and chairs which overlooked the tropical garden which was great. The spacious bathroom had a shower and bath. Free toiletries were supplied. We found the staff to be friendly and attentive. Good value and would recommend to other travelers.

Room Tip: We stayed upstairs in room A205 which was great.

Overall, we'd certainly come again. A little bit out of town, but walkable, and they offer a free regular bus service as well as free cycle hire. Rooms very good (we ended up with two different ones), although a nearby cockerel was rather audible in one of them. Breakfast is decent, with a nice river & garden view.
The staff have been fantastic, they are the key strength of this place, and helped us several times.

We booked and stayed in the nice room with a wonderful view of Nam Khan river, the air is fresh and been isolated from noisy streets. All hotel staffs were so kind and helpful. The price was so good and worth for pleasant stay.
The room was on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Everyone went above and beyond to help with any problem or sityation i had. The room was also beautiful and had a nice bathroom.
Really enjoy the stay.
