Amazing selection of shops restaurants and tourist attractions housed in this shopping mall. If you cannot find your favourite store in here you haven't looked hard enough. A massive shopping mall that would take days to go around. Very clean and nice....well sign posted and there is an information desk that you can charge your phone at which is very handy. I would definitely return.

Is nice mall to spend for whole day. But always so busy. You need to do reservation if you would like to dine in any restaurant. Traffic also keeps you waiting more than 15 to 20 minutes in taxi.

I really enjoyed the outside area of the mall with the restaurants and fountain, but the inside was just a big mall... nothing really that special about it. The aquarium is literally just a tunnel and you can see it from the outside... any aquarium in US/Canada will be much better than this. The skiing area was cool but a bit random. I much prefer the Avenues in Kuwait for shopping... same selection (or more) but better prices.

It's a mall--albeit the world's largest! The fun part was going into the Souk al-Bahar (yes, there is a souk inside the mall)! American's will love this place as you can get most of your home comforts like The Cheesecake Factory and Magnolia Bakery. There was a car show (if you're into that sort of thing) that drew lots of crowds, which I avoided. If you want to watch the fountain show at night, the best place is from the Apple Store but security limits the number of people on the balconies so best to get there early and do a little window shopping as close as you can to the balcony door that way you get in before they cordon it off. I always judge a mall by whether or not it has a good bookstore and Dubai Mall did not disappointed. Kinokuniya (the Japanese bookstore chain) is there with a larger selection of books in English than even it's NYC location, I would guess. It's haven away for looking at clothing store, after clothing store, after…well, you get the point.
