“An excellent hotel located in the business district of Dubai”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

I stayed for 1 month at one of the hotel suites and I loved it.

The beds are very confortable (amazing pillows), rooms are clean and bathrooms stocked with Occitane en Provence products.

Newspapers are delivered every day to the door and magazines every week.

I used to order breakfeast delivered to the room every night and room service was always on time in the morning.

The hotel is located near DIFC and has a metro station at the door as well as taxis
(avoid the white taxis at the door and take the official RTA taxis as they are cheaper)

The gym is also quite good and it was never too packed. The pool is cooled down during the summer which is very good for Dubai's weather

I only have 2 observations to make:
1. Internet should be free in the rooms
2. The pool is small and without privacy compared to other hotels in Dubai
3. This is a dry hotel so no alcohol served

Overall this hotel is perfect for business travellers

Room Tip: Pick the suites located at the top floors facing the sea and sheik zayed road

We stayed here on our last night before having to wake up at 3am to catch our flight, so we did not have the opportunity to sample all that this hotel has to offer, but from what we did see, this place is great!

Check-in was fast, and we entered our basic, deluxe room to be very pleasantly surprised. The size of the room is quite big, and the design is simple, yet very soothing. We also had fantastic views to Sheikh Zayed Road which were made even more spectacular at night. I thought the quality of the materials was great, and the design well thought-out, but my only preference would be to have a separate bathtub and shower, whereas here, they were combined. The main lobby and common areas of the hotel were quite clean, and also had a modern, crisp design.

I did not try the breakfast or Petals for dinner, but we did order from in-room dining. I have to say, that was some of the best in-room dining we have ever had. Fantastic meal, quick delivery and great quality of the food.

The location was also quite convenient. I was a little stir-crazy, so I decided to do some walking. The hotel is situated between two metro stops, and is very close to the Burj Khalifa and other new downtown sites. I would definitely recommend this hotel to day-trippers needing someplace central to explore from. For less than $200/night, I have to say that this hotel offered a lot of bang for the buck. If you do not need alcohol (dry hotel), this is a pretty great and comfortable hotel to stay in. I would not suggest this hotel to you if you are looking for over-the-top Dubai luxury, as there are much more suitable options for that than this hotel.

Room Tip: Obviously, the higher the floor, the more stunning the view, so if that is important to you, be sure...

Really liked my short stay. Quick check-in, only few rooms per floor, quick elevators no long waiting, and large rooms, quiet. Fantastic view in the morning. And in walking distance to the offices I am visiting. I'll be back. One caveat though, for some: "dry" hotel.

Second time staying at the Rose Rayhaan Rotana. It is very convenient for business travelers as it's just one stop on the train from the Dubai World Trade Centre. The light rail train is really convenient and taxis are always easy to find.

Rooms are very well appointed. If you can, request either a high floor or a room facing away from Sheikh Zayed Road. It is not really a 'road' but an 8 lane highway and the road noise can be distracting. I was on the 9th floor but facing the alley so it was really quiet. The gym opens at 6 a.m. and has all the basics for a good workout. Pool is outdoors but well heated.

Did have a few service issues this time - internet connection issues, long waits at the front desk, towels not fully replaced - but overall still a nice stay and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. Friends stayed at the Rotana hotel by the Dubai Mall and really enjoyed it so may try there next time.

Room Tip: Request either a high floor or a room facing away from Sheikh Zayed Road.

Rose Rayhaan really made my vacation superb.
Location is perfect, in the middle of everywhere and surrounded by couples of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets.
it's very easily to reach Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa about 10 Dh and 4-6 minutes. GBR is about 15 Min or less almost 45 Dh.
service and staff is amazing. just you name and you will get it.

room was nice specially the views from the high floors.

our total experience was great and definitely we are going back

Room Tip: try to book in the highest floors to enjoy the views and avoid connecting rooms

Let me tell you, it is a good hotel. If you expect a posh reception, sorry, it is not there. As Dubai is crowded and costly, the space utilization is necessary.
The reception was fast & friendly. Got the room key in 10 minutes.
Room is really good and spacious. Bed and mattress are good. It has a small kitchen with microwave, but no utensils. With glass on two sides, light is abundant. In the night time, just make sure to pull the blinds.
Bathroom is maintained well.
Food was really good. Just that the food delivery to room took some time.
Check out was quick.
Metro station is near by. The Burj Khalifa building is near by. Taxi is abundant.
Overall, a good hotel at reasonable price.

Room Tip: Corner rooms have 2 sides glass and other rooms have one side glass.
