Went for the Dubai world cup with Apron entry. Relatively easy to access, plenty of seating and no issues with escaping the sun either in shaded outside areas or a/c indoor areas. Lots of choice of 'fast food' but not your typical burger van quality!
The opening and closing ceremonies were simply awesome (not what you expect of a day at the races) and the closing fireworks made you grin ear to ear like a kid... If you are thinking of going for the Dubai World Cup - stop thinking and do it.

Impressive venue... when you get there! we had to park a couple of miles away and get a shuttle bus to the venue. Heavy traffic meant it took at least 45 mins from getting out of the car to entering the venue.
Glad I did it once, but i wont be rushing back. Apron Views (the cheapest ticket) was great, no need to pay extra IMO.

The Dubai world cup was held recently and what an experience I had. Nothing can come ever close to it. U will need to get here either by a taxi or bus. Great venue, good infrastructure and mainly best viewing for the spectators.

This was our fourth World Cup exsperisnce and unfortunately the worst. Our driver was not allowed near the track and nor were any cabs so we had to walk over a mile in the heat of the day and then que again in the burning sun even though we had paid in advance and had passes. The show prior to the big race was stunning as always which amazes me that they can't get people to and from the event but can have an extravagant show to perfection. On leaving again no cabs allowed but only buses and even though we had our own driver again he was not allowed near so bus it was, more standing.
Never again

Had a night at the races with my Wife and Son in February. A fantastic racecourse with extensive facilities. We had seats that overlooked the finish line and it was cheaper than a lot of racecourses in the UK. Alcohol is served (although expensive) and there are many food outlets. Gambling is not permitted but there is a pick 6 competition that costs no money but you can win cash prizes. A good experience but it does lack the intensity and atmosphere of a day at the races in the UK.
