“Outstanding. Great views from King Alcove room.”
Reviewed 9 February 2012

Dubai has so many 5 star hotels. I debated and chose Hilton based on price, location, reviews, email responses and gold member benefits. Being a first time Dubai visitor, I wanted to see the Jumeirah beach and also be close enough to check out the city's sights in one day. Many hotels I emailed before making the booking didn't even return my emails or took several days to respond. Hilton Jumeirah was prompt and that steered me to book the hotel. As we were arriving early AM, I wanted to have a good chance to get a room early and Hilton came through by checking us in about an hour after we arrived at 7AM. In the meantime, we were offered to have breakfast at the 9th floor executive lounge. It offered great selection of food and drinks and the staff were fantastic.

We stayed in a King corner alcove room. This room was very spacious and offered almost 270 degree view of the city and the beach. Everything about the room was great and the bed was really comfortable. From the balcony, you can see out to Burj Al Arab on one side and old dinky looking Sheraton to the other side. I guess only negative is that the Hilton, both exterior and interior, is modern and doesn't give the local flavor. But then this side of Dubai is very modern and the Hilton fits right in.

The pool looked nice and the Jumeirah beach is really nice. Even in a cool February weather, the beach was filled with people and the clear blue water, although cold, was refreshing. The executive lounge was pretty much open all day and had different selection of food and drinks throughout the day. The afternoon snack with different pastries and fruits were really good. We didn't get to try restaurants due to our short stay. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and is very busy with locals even after midnight.

It cost 100 dihrams from the airport to the hotel via taxi. It cost about 50 dihrams to the Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa via taxi. Hotel does offer shuttle services to some other malls. Dubai was bigger than I imagined and we didn't get to check out all the places. Hilton is little further away from the main attractions but is still a fantastic place to stay and enjoy everything that Dubai has to offer.

All the staff were super nice and very professional. I will not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Dubai.

Room Tip: King Alcove for the view.

My wife and I stay at hotel around the world 170 nights a year and are both diamond members of the Hilton group.

This hotel always stretches itself that extra to make you feel somebody important to them.

Room Tip: The hotel always makes you feel special.

My husband and I spent a little over a week at this hotel, in early December. Everything was truly outstanding, from beginning to end. The service, the food, you name it.
We did have one disappointment. We ate at Pachanga one evening and asked for a "to go" box. We were asked to sign a disclaimer before getting our left over food. That seemed very odd to us and a bit disconcerting? We refused, the waiter politely explained their regulations. We agreed to disagree!

We would stay here again and again.

The staff, the service, housekeeping, food, excellent. Many thanks to Sanjiv for keeping our room neat and tidy and for all of the added touches.

Room Tip: ocean view, with balcony

The hotel is not what I expected. Dubai hotels are not cheap but they offer at least great architecture and comfort. This one, is below average on those parameters.

Food was not bad, but really quite standard and not above average.

Service is also a mixture of lots of busy staff who seem to get nothing done and lots of yes that leads to no action. They also seem annoyed if they are asked about something twice or anything that is not very straight forward and very easy for them. I think the management should rethink the training it gives to staff as well as the number of untrained staff that just stand around so that the guests see many bodies standing around.

Definitely overpriced for what it is.

Me and my wife are for the first time in Dubai. The city is amazing and we discover Dubai day by day. I would like to say that this hotel is amazingly located on the beach side and from other hand not far from the main tourists attractions. The service at Hilton is the best I ever experienced. And I would like to thank Ksenia, Elena and Krishanta from Guest Relations for their helpfulness and friendly service. They made our holiday unforgetable. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends and will come back again. Thank you very much.

I was here for 10 days from 24th of february till the 3`d 2012. I was shoked by the level of personnel and extremally attantive attitude to ech person...I`ve been to many countries, mostly in 5 star hotels, but never expirienced such a freandly environment in evry corner of a hotel. I enjoed my holidays immensly thanks to these guys and the quisene(love to eate healthy ana tasty food) with a vide range of fruites and see products, by the way i should press a special attantion on that fruites are available not only on breakfast and lunch like in most hotels but in dinner time also. One more thing....deserts, shefs are just gods!!!they make marvellous things on every taste. and for those who hate crowds of peple when going on a meal, in this hotel there is no such thing, the number of people is always(I`ve asked on reception) midiam, so in a restaurant u feel free and spasy)

Room Tip: mine was 260 with a view on a pramanade street, it was not really loud to sleep at nite, but full of...

Returned a few days ago from a 5 night break in this hotel. We had a room with sea view, chosen as I didn't want to overlook The Walk and the towers beyond, so had a wonderful view of the sunset over the Gulf. Room was well-equipped and spotless, and we appreciated the complimentary water (replenished daily) and the facility to make tea/coffee in the room (not always a feature of foreign hotels). The beds (two queen-sized) were wonderfully comfortable and the air-con unobtrusive and effective, so we slept like logs. We loved the breakfast buffet - generous enough to mean we never ate lunch! The Italian and South American restaurants were lovely and the food stunning, but we also enjoyed the themed buffet dinners which were included in our half-board price. As we had originally booked and paid for bed and breakfast only, it came as a pleasant surprise to be upgraded to half board on arrival at no extra cost - apparently it was a promotion. The staff were uniformly helpful, cheerful and friendly.

We had a private limo for the airport transfer, which was very easy and pleasant and made our midnight arrival at the airport less harassing than it might have been. We went on one trip, to the East Coast, which was very interesting, but spent the rest of the holiday walking along the beach to the airstrip, swimming in the sea and lazing in the garden.

A great hotel that left us feeling totally chilled. We'd go back, happily.

Room Tip: Higher floors less affected by noise from The Walk and the car-park, as are sea-view rooms. Worth th...
