Was a little disappointed with the hotel itself the scenery was superb.

When we arrived we were tired we had just been on a plane for 8 hours and barely slept so we just wanted to get checked in - the guy on the desk said that our room wasn't ready and that he would "upgrade" us to a room that was ready. He didn't do this as we were still told we had to wait for our room - which wasn't a problem but don't say we have moved you to a room that is ready when it clearly isn't.

We went and got our swim suits and headed out to the pool and beach and relaxed by the pool - we sat down behind the swimming pool on the loungers and it was very relaxing.
About an hour later we had to go back to the desk and ask if the room was ready when they knew we were sitting by the pool waiting - they checked us in and didn't really give any information on the hotel - bearing in mind it was our first trip to Dubai and this hotel.

The room was fine - didn't look like an upgraded room looked very basic and standard. Although the sea shells on the bed was a lovely touch.

Majority of staff you met were very friendly and would do anything to help you if needed. However i think his name was George. When we went to the desk to ask a question he seemed far to interested in his paperwork to stop what he was doing and talk to us, now i'm a manager in a 4* hotel and i would not accept this from one of my staff so did not expect it from your staff.

The panchanga restaurant is AWFUL!!! we saw it was all you can eat tacos - so to me that meant i could help myself to as much as i wanted when i wanted? wrong. there was me and my other half plus two more couples seated in the rest and we had finished our first round of tacos and was told when we wanted more to let them know which we did - about 25 mins later we still didn't have anymore now the first round only gave you two tacos each so nothing to fill you up. the service in there was terrible didn't really seem bothered about the fact we was not happy - we wanted to speak to somebody but they seemed interested in other things. we paid but i wish i never did as we spent alot of money that holiday and wasted it on your restaurant,. we didn't eat in the hotel after that... and that was the second night.

Tried to speak to someone when we checked out but again seemed like everyone was too busy to talk. Very disappointing.

Expected a lot more!!

i would like a response from management.

Have stayed at Hilton Jumeirah beach 3 times, twice in the wonderful King Gulf suite with fantastic views. The location is great for walking along the new promenade with plenty of restaurants and shops. Dubai Marina is in easy walking distance. Lovely private beach,gardens and pool.

Room tip: The more you pay the better the room

Pros-
Great Location
It is literally on the beach
Marina and lots of shopping close by! Dont bring clothes they have River Island and other high street names walking distance!
Staff

Cons-
Vast construction work right next to it our balcony with 2/3 of the hotel rooms had a great view of it!
Drilling first thing at 7am and ends at 6pm! They are building a hotel another skyscraper next door so eventually the hotel view that is famously called a sea view shall be called a wave at other hotel rooms view!
The room as noted by other guests is tired with decor carpets etc, The hotel is 10 years old and has not had a single renovation all though the housekeeping do their level best to keep the rooms clean
There is only 1 pool so it does end up looking like a bowl of overly filled cereal!
The hotel is overly expensive if it is your first time in Dubai I  would suggest keeping a little book stating what the equivalent currency note is in our case AED 100 = £25 British pounds and we were being charged 110 AED for breakfast for one person!!!
Alcohol in Dubai is more expensive then gold!!! They hate people drinking so if you want to then be prepared to empty your pockets, cash point and even sell your soul oh and the same goes for PORK they do sell it but will charge you 200AED for some real pork and thats per a single portion!!!
Places to visit: Ferrari World 275AED or nearly £75, Burj Al Khalifa its inside Dubai mall this is the tallest building in the world and you pay 150 AED which is £30. Finally Burj Al Arab afternoon tea well worth the extortionate 630AED £150 per person for Scones and Tea with a view that is worth 10,000+ likes on instagram!
Shopping Dubai mall = Westfield White city not the East London Westfield Primark counterpark,
Emirates Mall = High Street,
Al Souks think Portabello Market or a high end carboot!

Stayed for 7 nights.
Very clean hotel, perfect position.
Staff were extremely accommodating. Breakfast buffet superb sollection.
Waverunner restaurant seafood bgo was amazing
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here due to the private beach and it is beside The Walk. Very good service although amenities are standard but still excellent choice for the rates. I like the location especially it is just beside the Reel Cinemas. It has also the best view of The Walk and The Beach. A lot of restaurant and shopping choices around it.
