Firstly, we contacted the manager Frederique Page at quite short notice to book two dinner parties in, 30 people each night, as another restaurant close by had let us down at the last minute.
Frederique could not be more accommodating and quickly helped us feel that it was all under control and the bookings were accepted, great menu options sent at reasonable prices, we were given an area just for us, we were even happy before we got there.
When we arrived on the first dinner party night, the service we received could only be described as World Class! They had agreed to give us a welcome drink but actually what we got blew us away! We each had our own personal small bottle of Elderflower juice and to our surprise they had printed our company logo on the bottles, that was such a lovely touch, the staff were thrilled and the cameras were clicking. We also had little shots of something that I wish I could remember the name of. We soon also realized that the menu's on the tables were made personally for us and they were recipe books that we could take away with us to try and make the same dishes that we ate at home. I haven't tried them yet and I envisage trying to match the excellent food made by superb chefs will be extremely tricky for me, who could burn an egg, but we loved it!
Frederique and the staff could not have given us better service throughout the night.
We had lots of Instagram props for the staff to use for photos and posting on social media and on the second dinner party night Frederique had cornered off a private little area specifically for us to use for the same props, another lovely and thoughtful touch.
We conduct training and host dinners across the entire Europe, Middle East & Africa regions and we all agreed that no other restaurant has come close to giving us such brilliant service, superb food and with really thoughtful details.
