Stayed 3 nights and was very delighted to have a mini travel break here in Sucre.

Well located with a terrace view of the surrounding cathedrals. Great to have a sunset drink on the terrace.

Rooms are very comfy with a heater, a treat in Bolivia.

Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast is definitely one of the better ones we’ve had with freshly baked tarts and cakes.

Great mid range find if that’s what you are after.

We stayed two nights at the Hotel de Su Merced and it was perfect fit for our needs. Beautiful building, nice room, good breakfast, decent WiFI, central location that is convenient for sightseeing and great views from the roof-top terrace. The lady at the reception (unfortunately I forgot her name) was very friendly and helped us to book a private transfer to Potosi. She also booked for us a table at the Espacio Cultural Origenes show (which we liked by the way). Early breakfast we asked for before our departure was easily arranged. Our transfer to Potosi turned out to be a bit more expensive than just a taxi, but we were happy with our driver Lino. Despite his limited English he was able to explain a few things along the route and was making photo stops at some nice spots.

I just spent 3 nights at this lovely boutique hotel in central Sucre. If you want a simple hotel this isn’t the place. If you want to have a memorable stay at a uniquely beautiful and charming hotel than this is it! I had a clean, single room which had a warm shower and TV with international and Bolivian stations. The hotel offers breakfast (included) as well as lunch and dinner. I didn’t have lunch or dinner at the hotel but the buffet breakfast was delicious and filling which was just what I needed to start each day. The hotel staff were incredibly gracious and pleasant. The staff spoke English very well and were generous with their help. For example, they offered helpful suggestions as to where I could find Bolivian textiles to buy and bring back home as gifts and an extra bag in which to carry them. The staff also helped arrange my taxi which picked me up and brought me to the airport at the end of my stay. I should also add that the hotel is centrally-located. It is a quick walk from the hotel to the main square, cathedral, and the main stores and restaurants. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. You’d love it!

A rambling old fashioned hacienda style hotel. Centrally situated, very helpful staff, two or three casual terraces for guests. Adequate breakfast, but varied. No lifts! Large rooms, great stop over hotel.
