They say that location is everything and it was certainly true in this case. Situated at the centre of 4 small alleys, and therefore very quiet, this hotel was handy for everything. There was a separate restaurant which was very good, breakfasts excellent and the beds very comfortable and very reasonably priced. We came by boat and they met us at the boat station and the same tuk-tuk driver (I think he was an employee of the hotel) also took us to Angkor Wat.Altogether very good. Only slight disadvantage was thart we were on the 4 floor, and after a day at Angor Wat, it seemed a long way up!

Room Tip: There is no lift so ask for a room as low as possible.

Excellent location, close to everything: 50m to town temple, 100m (or less) to Pub street, 50m to Old market, about 200 - 250m to Night Market.
In spite of the central location hotel is positioned in a very quiet place.
Spacious rooms, a lot of light, very cozy. Rooms look renovated. Quite spacious bathroom (cambodian style - shower is just on the wall). Very clean.
Helpful and smiley staff.
Restaurant is out of the hotel but in just 3 meters (literally).
Free wifi had excellent connection.
Minor minus: room doors are not sound proof, although is wasn't a problem as it's very quiet in the hotel.
the best value for money i experienced in Cambodia.
Better to book 3-4 days in advance.

Room Tip: Rooms facing trading center can be quite noisy due to the loud music from the center. One night it was very loud. Anyway no music after 10pm.

We immediately got the impression that this is a very well-managed hotel. It is super clean, staff is friendly and things just work. On top of that the location is fantastic - right in the middle of town, but still on a quiet very nice alley. This is also one of few hotels I've stayed in with a quite reasonably priced minibar, which is nice (usually it just feels like they want to rip you off and punish you for being thirsty...)

When we left our bus was leaving before they started serving breakfast, but they prepared a package for us instead, with omelets, bread and fruit. Really saved our morning!

Super clean. Quiet. Great management and staff. Restaurant less than 10 steps out the front door. One block from the market. Two blocks and across a bridge to the night market. Two and one half blocks to The Alley where there are a number of interesting restaurants.

Stayed four nights in early January 2012 and returned later in the month for two more.

I highly recommend Neth Socheata.

I took advantage of the hotel's tuk tuk driver (Sophal) and found him more than "just satisfactory". I gave him a list of the places I wanted to see and he supplemented the list and recommended a three day itinerary which worked very well.

Sophal had cautionary advice re: my planned visit to Phnom Penh.

Very well located in the center of Siem Reap, close to the main market, with shops, pubs, ATM points, pharmacy and a mall within 200 meters. New and very clean rooms with aircon, minibar, sat. TV, free wifi etc. Very friendly staff.
