Where do I begin, we stayed at the Angkor Century March 4th to the 8th.
This was our second trip to Siem Reap, and will not be our last thanks to
the staff at this hotel. They can't do enough to help you but are not bothersome
at all. From the doormen to the reception staff to the buffet manager, and pool bar staff they all made our trip wonderful.
Okay the hotel itself is in an excellent location, far enough away from Pub Street, but close enough to walk if you want. A block away from the Angkor Museum.
The pool and pool area is beautiful. Not busy and they let you swim after 8:00 (officially closed), just be quiet as all the rooms overlook the pool.
Our room was clean and everything worked. Beds were comfy and excellent pillows.
We had our own balcony which was fantastic.
Our first morning the buffet manager approached us as we entered the room.
And promptly asked if we would like bacon, as it wasn't in the buffet. Every morning as soon as he saw us , he would ask bacon?
We wanted a tuk tuk driver that spoke good English for our Angkor Wat day, and they delivered.
You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel. I know I will recommend it to anyone I know that is traveling to Siem ReapMore
