The street is especially beautiful in the evening, with many red lanterns and lighting. Stalls and restaurants provide delicious local food. A place to be in downtown.

With all the vendors, food and culture it was a definite highlight of the trip for us. There was so much to see and take in. We went during the day, but I heard that night time was also a great time to visit this area.

If you want to have best snack, safe food, Chinese trial you totally visit JiNLi Road. Hypster Chinese street with tons of little shops with food all around. We have a tour guide from our travel agency who was able to translate us what was each thing and decide to eat or not. Also super cute shops were to buy panda stuff for souvenirs at a relative price base on location and time. We didnt like: stinkey tofu :( taste as it smells. Best snack: round doe fill with pork, and sweet doe balls with caramel. Rice balls with sweet soy are good too. You can also taste rabbit or duck. Is everywhere ! Good 1 hour walk around all of it.

If you like the bustle and accept the tourist nature of the place this is fun to visit - souvenirs- locals and loads of eating places - should go at least once but don’t complain about prices - it’s a tourist destination

I don’t think there are any spots in China without a lot of people, just embrace , take your time and enjoy.
