Most things work well, the rooms are nice and so is the food. The wiring of the rooms, though, is a story of its own. The lights and curtains are connected so that you cannot have lights off but curtains open. And once some lights are off, you cannot switch them back on unless you reboot the system by opening and closing the door. At least, I could not work out the setup during my three days. And when the room is pitch dark, and you want to find the toilet, good luck!. Not a single switch is lit, so where do I switch on lights? Bring a torch if you wish to go here. I've never seen anything this strange.

The Hotel is a unique experience itself, with a lot of remarkable items, large and luxurious spaces. The room was incredibly large, with a private sauna and hi-tech restroom. Excellent breakfast. Sometimes it seems that everything is somehow 'excessive' and the level of english language is not at the level required.

I spent two nights at the CYNN Hotel while participating in an event held in their ballroom. Overall my stay was very enjoyable. The rooms are very comfortable, with high tech amenities such as closing curtains, different mood lighting, and an automatic toilet. There was a huge bathtub, and very nice rain shower as well.

I ordered room service, and it came quickly and was very good. The breakfast buffet is fairly standard for most hotels, although the food isn't replenished as often as you would expect, and both mornings when I arrived the coffee carafe was empty and they were slow to refill it. If you arrive even towards the middle of the posted hours, expect it to be somewhat picked over and many trays to be empty.

The check-in staff was helpful, and they have some English speaking hosts who are native speakers who will assist with problems. The concierge did not speak English well at all, so this did present a problem for getting directions when the English host was unavailable.

Lots of restaurants and things to walk to in the neighbourhood. The Raffles Mall is about a 20 minute walk away, and very easy to find even if you don't speak or read Mandarin. Overall I was pleased with my experience, and I will stay here again if I return to Chengdu.

Very glitzy hotel, also known as the Cynn Hotel. Good staff and luxurious rooms. At the beginning of our stay I found the high tech toilet and all the various features in the room a bit overwhelming. But by the time we left I was loving it! Totally spoiled. I treated myself to a foot massage too. Very nice, if quite forceful.

Beautiful design and perfect service. If you can afford it this hotel is a real five star hotel in a good neighborhood in Chengdu. It is near a university campus, that is a wonderful oasis with a lot of trees. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and English speaking. In the amazing lobby - it's like a garden with comfortable chairs - one can have fresh juices or a perfect espresso.
The breakfast buffet is extremely nice. Whatever you might want it's there.
The rooms have all facilities and the bathroom is modern, clean and with a tube and a separate shower.
