Unlike other reviews I have read we did not find the service lacking. The staff was attentive and friendly. They were very helpful and understanding considering we are not very fluent with the language. As part of our Sunnyland Tours package our dinners were provided by Fruta Café. We enjoyed all of our prepared meals but we especially enjoyed the fried shrimp. The shrimp is the best we have ever eaten. Lightly battered and fried to perfection and they prepare an excellent chocolate milkshake. Unfortunately this was the last meal we ate there as we were leaving the next morning. The atmosphere was wonderful. Elevated seating area that is open to the street which added to the experience of dining in the Galapagos.

Cute place. Open air comfortable seating. With a name of Fruta y Cafe with huge coffee machine pictures of fruit drinks. Went for an early lunch late breakfast. Coffee took forever. Service was a complete mess.

As I sit here now using their Wifi which is strong compared to anywhere else in town, I only wish the food I've just eaten was better and not so overpriced.
Surroundings are well decorated and clean, the chairs are comfortable.
The service is good.
The food and drinks are average and a bit pricey.
Come here if you crave a decent wifi signal.
